There are so many wonderful things to see and experience in and around Sedona, we can't name them all here; but we'll try! Did you know that Page Springs that's just a short drive south of Sedona has four wineries?

Slide Rock State Park
Slide Rock State Park is a 43-acre historic apple farm located in Oak Creek Canyon north of Uptown Sedona.  The park is named after the famous Slide Rock, a stretch of slippery creek. Visitors may slide down a slick natural water chute or wade and sun along the creek. [info]

Other Parks
Red Rock State Park is a 286 acre park off Rte 89A along Lower Red Rock Loop Road. [info]

The Arizona State parks listed above have daily fees.  A separate Red Rock Pass is for parking in the Coconino National Forest land in Red Rock Country.

Mountain Biking/ATV
There are many off road mountain bike and ATV trails in the back country of Sedona.

Jeep Rides
If you'd like a guided tour of the hiking trails, there are many jeep companies in Sedona.  There's also a trolley tour company.

Horse Back Riding
If a jeep tour of the Sedona trails doesn't seem rugged enough, try guided horseback rides.

The Chapel of the Holy Cross
The Chapel of the Holy Cross is one of the 'must see' spots for anyone visiting Sedona.  It's located on Rte. 179.

Airplane & Helicopter
The Sedona Airport is America's most scenic airport with a runway shaped like a huge aircraft carrier rising into the sky. The airport is currently only open to small aircraft and offers scenic airplane and helicopter tours.

Railroad
The railroads of north central Arizona were all built to support Arizona's richest copper mine, located in Jerome.  The Verde Canyon Railroad is a 38-mile line that originates in Clarkdale.
