Verde Valley AZ (September 23, 2012) – Yavapai College is joining Project Civil Discourse as a simulcast site for a statewide forum on three key initiatives on the ballot in the November election. The discussion, called “Mapping Arizona’s Future,” will be September 27, 6-9 p.m. at Yavapai College Sedona Center for Arts & Technology, 4215 Arts Village Drive, Sedona. The event is free and public participation is encouraged.
Verde Valley AZ (August 31, 2012) – Yavapai College’s Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (OLLI) of Sedona and the Verde Valley is accepting facilitator proposals for the winter term until September 10. The winter term begins January 22, 2013 and ends March 8, 2013. OLLI of Sedona and Verde Valley is a dynamic organization within Yavapai College created to meet the needs of intellectually active mature adults. What makes OLLI a unique learning experience is that there is no pressure of tests, grades, or papers.
