Vismaya Brings You “Songs from My Red Suitcase” at Studio Live

logo_studioliveSedona AZ (January 29, 2013) – Studio Live presents Songs From My Red Suitcase: A One Woman Musical Play Saturday, February 9th at 7:30 pm. Tickets are $15.00 general admission, doors open at 7:00 pm.

Most of us know Vismaya, who now goes by Ingrid Hagelberg as a cabaret/jazz singer. However, when she first arrived in the USA, in Los Angeles, she was also recognized as a class act singer/actress. Studio Live Presents Vismaya: Original Songs From My Red Suitcase

Sedona AZ (February 2, 2012) – Vismaya returns to Studio Live on Friday February 10th 2012 at 7:30 pm with a cabaret concert she calls Original Songs from My Red Suitcase. The performance will showcase songs she has written during her many travels performing jazz and cabaret around the world. Tickets are $15.00 in advance and $17.00 the day of the show.

Having left Sweden for Paris at the age of 18, Vismaya (aka, Ingrid Hagelberg), fell in love with French bistro chanson, in particular the music of Edith Piaf. During her musical career she has recorded her in the USA, Poland, South Africa, and Germany. For ten years she performed in 5-star venues around Germany, where she wrote many songs with composer Nenad Mandic, her European music collaborator. Read More→

European Jazz Cabaret Show with Swedish Singer Vismaya and French performer Vincent Z

Sedona AZ (January 5, 2012) – Vismaya, (Ingrid Hagelberg) a Swedish Jazz Singer is back taking you to a European Bistro experience with familiar jazz and cabaret songs including French, German, Portuguese and even Swedish. Vismaya came to this Country over twenty years ago and settled in Los Angeles, where she pursued a career as a singer and an actress. Her love of the great jazz singers opened up doors to perform with well known musicians like Ron Antony (guitarist for Frank Sinatra) Jack Sheldon, John Clayton. Vismaya has toured the World and performed and lived in Germany, Japan, South Africa, Poland and Sweden. She now lives in Sedona but also performs in the Phoenix area. Read More→

The Cunninghams Join Vismaya

Sedona, AZ (September 7, 2011) A special musical presentation is offered at Marketplace Cafe this Saturday, September 10, 2011. Vismaya, a local favorite, will sing a European Jazz cabaret accompanied by Allen Ames on guitar and violin, and bassist Daren Burns. The show begins at 7 p.m.

A special guest appearance by The Cunninghams will add congas, saxophone and hot Latin percussion to the evening with Vismaya.
