“Music at the Museum” Concert Series

Sedona Heritage MuseumSedona AZ (April 11, 2012) – The Sedona Heritage Museum presents the Plein Aire String Quartet in a special performance of “Music at the Museum” at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, April 21 at the Museum.

Plein Aire finishes out their Museum season with the Dissonant quartet of Mozart (K. 465) and the La Melanconia quartet of Beethoven (Op. 18 #6). These harmonically advanced compositions illustrate how far the string quartet had developed by the end of the 18th century. Sedona Heritage MuseumSedona AZ (November 7, 2011) – The Sedona Heritage Museum presents the Plein Aire String Quartet in a special performance of “Music at the Museum” at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, November 19 at the Sedona Heritage Museum.

Plein Aire will play music by American composers to celebrate the upcoming Thanksgiving season, including works by Randall Thompson, Charles Ives, and Samuel Barber (including his “adagio for strings”). Read More→
