(Sedona, Arizona) - It could not have been a more perfect evening for Sedona’s Chamber
of Commerce mixer/trade show held April 26 at the L'Auberge Resort, 301
L’Auberge Lane.Great food, refreshments, company and camaraderie marked the event, which
allowed members and guests to network; and participating members to showcase
their business products tradeshow-style by the creek.
Malachy Wiengas, president of Sedona Broadcasting and vice president of the
Sedona Chamber of Commerce (COC), gave COC Director of Membership Terry Morales kudos
for her fine work in putting some of Sedona’s best and brightest together and
for the success of the event.“I had the pleasure
of attending yesterday's Sedona Chamber mixer/trade show,”
Mr. Wienghas said. “Credit has to be given to Terry Morales for staging such
a outstanding event. The L'Auberge venue was a perfect location for
Chamber
members to enjoy such a beautiful Sedona evening. The food and entertainment
were also outstanding. The question is, how is Terry going to top this event for
future mixers?”
Sedona Verde Valley Times Publisher Rita Livingston noted the quality of COC
membership and the class –act presentation of the event by COC leadership and
the L’Auberge staff.“This was one of the best Chamber mixers I’ve ever been at,” Ms. Livingston
said. “I’m glad we were here as a newspaper to cover it. This demonstrates to
the public the kind of business people we are and gives all a chance to better
know one another and what we do.”
COC Secretary Joel Gilgoff said the mixer itself is another benefit of belonging
to the Chamber."The evening was cool and beautiful, the site was magnificent, and the food was
delicious,” Mr. Gilgoff said. “This trade show style mixer allowed many of our
local business to introduce their services to both new and existing members. The
members enjoyed the mixer and the merchants benefited from it. This is another
benefit of belonging to the Sedona Chamber of Commerce."
Interior designer Zoska Landers, who recently moved to Sedona, said she would be
joining the Chamber soon, especially after being invited to the mixer.
“I’m grateful to have been invited to the mixer,” Ms. Landers said. “Meeting all
these wonderful people assured me I made the right move moving to Sedona.”
