Host 10th Anniversary Festival, May 25
Sedona, AZ - May 3, 2008 - Sedona and Verde
Valley residents and tourists are invited to Sedona
Mago Retreat Center’s 10th Anniversary Festival,
highlighted by Ilchi Lee’s “Brain Education for
Successful Aging” lecture, May 25 (Sunday), 2008,
10:00 AM - 6:00 PM (Memorial Day weekend).
With its unique natural beauty and vortex-energy
amid Coconino National Forest, the 160-acre Sedona
Mago Retreat Center in its 10 years of operation has
created an ideal environment for the renewal,
training, and healing of its more than 3,000 guests
from all over the world visiting annually.
Innovative holistic training programs have been
designed to enhance health, happiness and peace,
based on the Brain Education System Training (BEST)
methods developed by Ilchi Lee.
Sedona Mago Retreat Center (“Mago” means “Mother
Earth” in Korean) is owned by the Tao Fellowship, a
nonprofit educational foundation, committed to “love
of humanity and love of the Earth.”

Guided walking tours of Healing Garden,
rainwater-filled lake and ponds, and vortex
sites, 11:00-11:30 AM and 4:30-5:00 PM. |

either the 11:45 AM-12:30 PM or 12:30-1:15
PM seating. |

|
Entertainment by Korean Power Drummers
and DahnMuDo self-empowerment martial artists, Mago
Hall, 1:30-1:50 PM. |

As the Retreat Center’s founder, Ilchi Lee will
lecture and lead experiential exercises on “Brain
Education for Successful Aging,” Mago Hall,
2:00-4:00 PM. |
Lee’s lecture will explain how the brain can remain
fit after 50 in order to produce physical health,
mental functioning, and inner peace. It is a matter
of choosing to make the commitment to change.
Several simple and practical techniques for feeling
and acting younger will be demonstrated.

The lecture is an extension of the new book “In Full
Bloom: A Brain Education Guide for Successful
Aging,” by Lee and Jessie Jones, Ph.D., which is
available from Amazon.com.
A 10-year resident of Sedona, Lee (www.ilchi.com) is
the founder and president of the International Brain
Education Association, and Korea Institute of Brain
Science (granted consultative status to the United
Nations).
Guests who drive to Sedona Mago Retreat Center can
park in the lot next to its main gate. Or they can
ride the 12-mile primitive Bill Gray Road on the
Retreat Center’s free shuttle vans. After parking on
the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church’s lot, the
vans leave from Mago Information House (Bill Gray
Road and Highway 89A) for a 30-minute scenic ride.
Shuttle riders are requested to reserve seats and
one of two departure times. The vans (50-seat
capacity) leave at 10:00 and 11:30 AM. At the
Festival’s end, the vans depart the Retreat Center’s
Welcome House, at 4:30 PM and 5:50 PM.

For those guests who want to enjoy staying overnight
on May 25, a discounted package is available. It
consists of a Casita Guest Room (with two queen-size
beds), dinner and breakfast, hilltop pool and heated
spa, hiking paths, starlight meditation, and a
morning yoga class. Optional services at discounted
rates include Horseback-riding Meditation and

Sedona Mago Retreat Center’s natural setting has
four mountains, hills, red rocks, gardens, a lake,
ponds, and abundant plantings. Facilities in harmony
with Nature and based on “green criteria” include
meeting rooms, guest rooms, meditation areas,
pool-spa, horse stables, and water management
system.
The Sedona Mago Retreat Center is at 3500 Bill Gray
Road, 12 miles from Highway 89A, between Sedona and
Cottonwood.

Festival: guided walking tours, free buffet lunch, musical
entertainment, and Ilchi Lee’s lecture on “Brain Education for
Successful Aging,” 2:00 - 4:00 p.m. Then relax and stay overnight:
Casita Guest Room; dinner on 25th and breakfast on 26th; hilltop
pool and heated spa; landscape for hiking; meditating under the
stars; and a 8:30 a.m. yoga class. Room price, $87 for one person
(two meals), and $25 for meals for each additional person in the
room. Optional discounted services: Horseback Meditation (1
hour/$80), and Private Chakra Healing Session (30 minutes/$72, 1
hour/$144, and with Body Alignment Check-up, 80 minutes/$200). For
