Sedona, AZ - Red RockAppella Chorus, along with the Sedona United Methodist Church,
presents its First Annual concert ‘Red RockAppella Rocks’ on Sunday,
December 2, 2007 at 3:00 p.m. at Sedona United Methodist Church
(corner Hwy 179 and Indian Cliffs Rd).
Returning recently from 3
days of “vocal coaching” on women’s barbershop harmony by Sweet Adelines International championship winners, Red RockAppella Chorus
is ready to roll!
The upcoming show features both ballads and uptunes and includes
favorites such as Jump, Jive and Wail, Down at the Twist and Shout,
We’ll Gather Lilacs and more. Also, Feliz Navidad, Still, Still,
Still and We Need a Little Christmas will be featured in the second
half of the show to celebrate the holiday season. Along with the RRA
Chorus, Red RockAppella’s own two quartets ‘Sedona Swing’ and
‘Sedona Heatwave’ will also perform.
On top of that, our special guest headliners, ‘Affinity’ quartet,
will be featured in this performance. This quartet includes four
very talented and creative international quartet champion gold
winners. ‘Affinity’s tenor is Monique Manifold who is tenor section
leader with the International Champion San Diego Chorus, lead is
Lori Lyford who directs the 2006 International Champion Scottsdale
Chorus, bass is Kim Hulbert who is Master Director of the 2002
International Champion San Diego Chorus, and baritone, Jana Gutenson
who proudly wears two international chorus gold medals with
Scottsdale Chorus.
