Movie "Soul Masters" spotlights Chinese healers

Sedona, AZ - June 19, 2008 - On Friday, June 27, Future Studios Cinema presents Soul Masters. In China, it is said that Dr. Guo can cure the incurable. When his representative in the West, Dr. Sha, heals her ailing father, an American filmmaker follows his return to China to visit his mentor.

At Dr. Guo's clinic, she captures first-ever footage of breakthrough medical practices involving herbal medicine, fire massage and self-healing techniques.

Dr. Sha returns to the States and his teachings spread across North America and Europe. Expanding on Dr. Guo's work, he teaches people the revolutionary discovery that binds these two. Soul Masters: everything has a soul, and the soul can heal.

Master Sha and his most beloved teacher, spiritual father and adoptive father, Master Zhi Chen Guo, are true soul masters. They are deeply connected at every level of being. At a very young age, each had a life-threatening health issue. They both recovered through the use of traditional Chinese medicine. These early experiences gave direction to their years of study. A doctor’s refusal to treat Master Guo because of his family’s poverty opened the door to his compassion. Master Sha’s recovery due to acupuncture opened the door to his deep appreciation for all approaches to healing.

They had a deep personal realization of the profound benefits of effective healing methods. They dedicated themselves to learning how to assist others. Compassion sparked their passion for this study. Dedication and commitment characterized everything they did. Master Guo immediately dedicated himself to mastering Chinese herbs. This was quite extraordinary for a youth. Master Sha dedicated himself to mastering energy and spiritual healing arts, including tai chi, qigong, kung fu, feng shui, the I Ching, traditional Chinese medicine and acupuncture. Each one’s life journey as a healer grew out of these early experiences.

Universal service is their guiding principle. Their devotion to the Divine is absolute. It is what motivates and gives meaning to everything they do. It is why their service is so generous and so tireless.
