Join “Vision Boards Meet the Sweet Smell of Success!”, a FREE class at the Camp Verde Community Library, Thursday, Jan. 18, 5 – 7:30 p.m. We will create vision boards and link your desires to supporting aromatherapy and essential oils. BRING a blank poster board, and meaningful cut out words, images and photos, etc., with you.

Cottonwood Community Band to
Hold Preseason Sessions

logo_cottonwoodcommunitybandCottonwood AZ (December 30, 2017) – The Cottonwood Community Band will offer its first ever Preseason sessions beginning on Monday, January 8, at Cottonwood Middle School, room 301 from 7-9 PM.   The Preseason is similar to baseball’s spring training.  It’s a time for returning players to get back into shape after the holiday break, and an opportunity for new players interested in playing with the band to rediscover their instruments and ease back into making music. Fire Board Resignation – Applications Requested

logo_verdevalleyfiredistrictCottonwood AZ (December 29, 2017) – The Verde Valley Fire District Board of Directors accepted the resignation of Board Member Don Eberle at their regular meeting held December 19, 2017. 

Mr. Eberle’s tenure on the Board began December, 2014. He served two years as the Board Clerk and, most recently, served as the Board Chairman. Mr. Eberle’s letter of resignation states that he and his wife are moving out of state; therefore he must resign. Read More→

Sedona AZ (December 29, 2017) – The Sedona International Film Festival presents Ballet in Cinema on Monday, Jan. 8 when it hosts the big screen encore of “The Taming of the Shrew” from the Bolshoi Ballet in Moscow. There will be one show at 4:00 p.m. at the festival’s Mary D. Fisher Theatre.

“The Taming of the Shrew” features music by Dmitri Shostakovich and choreography by Jean-Christophe Maillot. Principal dancers include Ekaterina Krysanova (Katharnia), Vladislav Lantratov (Petruchio), Semyon Chudin (Lucentio) and Olga Smirnova (Bianca). Read More→

Local Musicians perform “Music in the Stacks”

Monday at the Museum: Bread-Baking Workshop

Attendance is limited, so call now to reserve your place. Bring an apron, mixing bowl, and large mixing spoon. ACF of Sedona January Grant Application Workshops

Judaism and Jesus
