… a wonderful day to be here, breathing and enjoying life, friends, nature and some creatures that were desirous of having their portraits taken. Guy and I headed back to Watson Lake this afternoon and conditions were perfect, water that was like glass, reflections you can hardly imagine and beings like this Great Blue Heron that wanted to have his portrait taken. Mostly we were using the electric motor and drifting into the birds. I have never been closer to a Great Blue Heron than I was to this one; less than ten feet. So the camo painted Knot Yacht is meeting and exceeding expectations.

Cornville AZ (September 12, 2017) – In October of 2016, the victim and homeowner left her residence in the 500 block of Camino De Encanto, Cornville, and relocated out of the country for a period of time. She permitted a family acquaintance, 34-year-old Jeremey Smith from Sedona, to stay in the home while she was away. In January of 2017 while the victim was still away, she learned of problems Smith was causing in the neighborhood and he was told to leave. On January 10, 2017, deputies were called to the home regarding a trespassing complaint. Deputies found Smith at the home, trespassing, and the investigation led to his arrest for drug possession and court ordered violations. Read More→

logo_arizonagameandfishVerde Valley AZ (September 12, 2017) – Arizona’s bald eagle population continues to soar as the number of breeding areas expanded statewide and a record 82 young hatched during the 2017 breeding season, according to an annual Arizona Game and Fish Department survey.

While the number of hatchlings rose from the previous high of 79 in 2016, the number of young that actually fledged dipped slightly to 63 birds that made the important milestone of their first flight. In Arizona, at least 95 eggs were laid, which was slightly less than the 97 laid in 2016, and a record 85 breeding areas were identified, including two new areas. Read More→

logo_rowegallerySedona AZ (September 12, 2017) – Sedona artist Kim Kori’s newest bronze sculpture is titled A Moment’s Rest, something Kim hasn’t had much of this year. Kim has had one of the busiest years of her career. Her 4.5-foot monumental bronze, Amore, depicting a love-struck frog was installed in Benson Sculpture Garden in Loveland, Colorado, in June. Kim spent time in Loveland at the dedication ceremony in July and then again at the 34th annual Sculpture in the Park invitational show in August. Amore is one of 154 sculptures in the 10-acre park.
