HSS Pet of the Week: Meet Missy

Saturday, February 8th, 2014

logo_humanesocietySedona AZ (February 8, 2014) – Ms. Missy is a 12 years old female tabby who is ready to go home! We just love Missy and we know you will to. Here’s what she has to day…

“I’m a beautiful green-eyed and silky silver-coated tabby who is super affectionate and friendly to all! My favorite past time, besides eating, is to sit on your lap and purr up a storm. I still like to play like a kitten, for a few minutes anyway, and will chase after a laser and enjoy some good catnip especially on my scratch pad. I may not have all my teeth, but I have a healthy appetite for soft food and treats. I’d prefer a more quiet home with adults, the more laps the better! Right now I am hanging out with my Foster Mom and she is wonderful but I am looking for a more permanent lap and home to be in.”

Missy is ready for her FUR-ever home! Call the Humane Society of Sedona seven days a week from 10 to 4 pm to meet Missy and all the other available animals for adoption. 928-282-4679.

Inspired by brilliant precious stones, George Balanchine exquisitely choreographed “Jewels” as three disparate parts, each with its own composer and striking beauty. The ballet serves as a tribute to the three cities-Paris, New York, and St. Petersburg, all of which carved the elegance, aesthetic and style of Balanchine. Read More→

… I took this shot of a Woodie down at the ponds late October and while he was just stretching his wings out it seems as though he was directing an unseen, unheard orchestra playing a symphony beyond our vision, residing on the other side of our reality. As a director he strikes a beautiful pose … and the sounds of the solar wind can be heard as it passes by our little planet and on out to forever and our Woodie friend orchestrates the music … the music of eternity.
