Cottonwood AZ (February 7, 2014) – World renowned guitarist Anthony Mazzella will present a special Valentine’s Day Concert at Old Town Center for the Arts on Friday, February 14th at 7:00 pm.   Following four previous sellouts at OTCA Anthony returns to dazzle concertgoers with his deft defying abilities on acoustic and electric guitars.

The Valentine’s evening will begin with a special arts opening and wine tasting at 6:00 pm to celebrate the newly installed art of Nancy Ruby.  The fourteen paintings are mostly landscape art, oil on canvas and depict vistas of our Verde Valley.  Concert sponsor Pillsbury Wine will be pouring samples of their Goddess, Symphony 2012, and Diva 2011 for this pre-concert art opening. … getting to be that time of year when some color is appreciated and the drabness of winter is wearing on the spirit … color and light … and so I dug through some of the shots from last summer and fall and found this shot of some mesquite seed pods that I took by the side of the road on one of my daily walks. Soon the quiet of winter will be gone and the richness of life will again envelope our daily experiences … need to be sure to take a few moments to appreciate and give thanks for the daily gifts. I like the second pod from the right; it has an eye … could it be a “NSA” plant ? Smiles
