logo_sedonamarathonSedona AZ (February 1, 2014) – Saturday morning, February 1, a record number of participants raced through the beautiful red rocks for the 9th Annual Sedona Marathon Event. Over 2,500 runners enjoyed this beautiful course; and the results are in.

The Full Marathon Men’s Division was dominated by Flagstaff, Arizona runners. Thomas Rivers Puzey, age 29, came in first place with a time of 2:46:20. In second place with a time of 2:48:55 was Gary Krugger, age 28; followed by last year’s champion Brian Tinder, age 34, with a final time of 2:55:29. Read More→

City Launches Sedona Citizens Connect

City of Sedona ArizonaSedona AZ (February 1, 2014) – The City of Sedona has launched a new smartphone application, which allows Sedona residents to help improve their neighborhoods and the city by reporting non-emergency civic issues, such as potholes, flooding, abandoned vehicles, and loose animals.  This mobile reporting platform is an incredible collaborative opportunity between the citizens of Sedona and the City.  In addition, it will improve how the City delivers services to its neighborhoods. Sedona AZ (February 1, 2014) – A shaft of light broke through the late afternoon clouds and illuminated these rocks and field of some wild grass or ground cover … and it was good and gave me a chance to get this image. The formations are near that portion of Sycamore Canyon that is just west of Black Mountain.
