logo_humanesocietySedona AZ (October 16, 2013) – On October 13, 2013 at Los Abrigados the Humane Society of Sedona (HSS) launched its 2014 WOOFnPURR calendar. A year in the making, from initial idea to final printed calendars, the WOOFnPURR calendars (one for cats and one for dogs) is well on its way to raising over $50,000 for spay and neuter services.

Spay and neuter is the most effective step that can be taken to reduce the number of homeless pets. HSS will be collaborating with multiple animal welfare organizations and veterinarians throughout Northern Arizona to connect with pet owners who cannot afford this much-needed service. HSS is planning to offer no cost clinic days as well as low cost clinic days, hosting the clinics in other towns and even transporting animals to the clinics if needed. Read More→
