New Citizens Engagement Coordinator Announced

City of Sedona ArizonaSedona AZ (October 5, 2013) – The City of Sedona is pleased to announce that Lauren Browne has been hired as the new Citizens Engagement Coordinator. Last June, the Sedona City Council approved this new position in order to help communicate with citizens, organize the volunteer program, and be a conduit for public comments and ideas.

Originally from the Midwest, Lauren Browne moved to Arizona in 2003 to attend Northern Arizona University. She graduated from NAU with a Bachelor’s of English and a minor in Journalism. Tony Award-winning musical kicks off Film Festival’s Direct from Broadway series

logo_SIFFSedona AZ (October 5, 2013) – The “Great White Way” comes to the red rocks when the Sedona International Film Festival kicks off its “Direct from Broadway” series with the big-screen debut of the Tony Award-winning musical “Memphis”, premiering Oct. 11-12. The production premieres in high definition at the Mary D. Fisher Theatre.

Winner of four Tony Awards including Best Musical and a 2012 Primetime Emmy Award, “Memphis” lit the stage of Broadway’s legendary Shubert Theatre for nearly 1,200 performances. Read More→
